It has been said that everything someone creates tells a story.
It has been said that if you want to connect with your audience, tell a story.
Personally, I like to create things; but I think I create more things than I have stories to tell. I do not believe that I have a story for everything I create.
However, that does not mean that there is no story. Many of the things that I create are waiting for a story to tell. For example, these small boxes made to hold two rings on somebody’s wedding day. As they wait to be used, they are also waiting for a story to tell.
During the wedding ceremony, when the box is opened and the rings are exchanged, a story is born. A story of commitment. A story of promise. A story of love.
Boxes do not always have a story of their own. Sometimes, they are waiting to hold your story.
